The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks is seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Chef to lead our dynamic culinary team in an environment where faith and work come together to shape lives. As part of our unique work education program, The Keeter Center serves as a learning laboratory where students gain hands-on experience in culinary arts, hospitality, and leadership.

This role involves building workflows to facilitate interactions and data flow between systems and tools. The position includes training, educating, and co-supervising student workers. 

The primary responsibilities of this position are: 

Website and Application Development: The Website Administrator & Software Engineer will analyze institutional needs for websites and custom applications. They will design, develop, and implement websites and applications with compelling UI/UX designs, ensuring adherence to accessibility standards. This role involves providing ongoing support and maintenance, developing features for data collection and payment processing, building integrations between internal and external applications using APIs, and implementing workflow automation tools to improve efficiency and data flow between systems. 

Content Management and SharePoint Administration: This position will collaborate with departments across the organization to ensure website content remains current and relevant, implementing and managing content management systems to facilitate easy updates. The engineer will also develop and maintain SharePoint sites, creating custom SharePoint solutions as needed. 

Student Worker Management: The Website Administrator & Software Engineer will provide technical assistance, training, and education to student workers. They will co-supervise student workers, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.

The ABET-accredited multi-disciplinary engineering program includes core courses in mechanical, electrical, civil, industrial, agricultural, and chemical engineering. SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer/Vice President for Finance and Administration, this position provides leadership, strategic planning, direction, and oversight for all human resources functions, including day-to-day oversight for organizational development and institutional human resources policies and strategies.

The College of the Ozarks is looking for a public safety staff officer.  The general duties of the staff officers include general patrol of the campus, building security (locking and unlocking facilities on a set schedule), regulating access to the campus through the front gates, directing traffic, and parking cars for special events. The public safety department provides 24/7 coverage, which often requires working, holidays, and varied shifts. Biology Faculty Position

College of the Ozarks invites applications for a full-time teaching position in its biology department. The primary responsibilities for this position will include classroom and laboratory instruction for upper-level human physiology and general biology for majors. The successful candidate may also teach additional courses in immunology, embryology or other courses related to their field of expertise. Most biology majors are pre-professional students in health-related fields (pre-med, pre-dental, pre-PA, etc.) or students seeking admission to biology graduate programs. A Ph.D. in biology or a terminal degree in a related field is preferred. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; may lead to a multi-year letter of appointment.

Non-teaching responsibilities include maintaining laboratory equipment, advising students, supervising student workers in the biology department, participating in semiannual faculty workshops, serving on campus committees, and attending monthly division meetings.

College of the Ozarks is a small (1,400 students), liberal arts, work-study college with a commitment to evangelical Christian faith and service, located in southwest Missouri near Branson (www.cofo.edu). Class sizes are small, generally 15-30 students in STEM courses. There is a strong sense of community among faculty, staff, and students not found at many institutions.
