College of the Ozarks Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band to perform concert Friday, Dec. 6

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — The College of the Ozarks Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band will present a Christmas concert that will take place Friday evening, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. in the Royal Oak Forum at The Keeter Center. This concert is free and open to the public.

Dr. Kevin Powers, associate professor of music and concert director, shared what the audience can expect while attending this performance.

“This concert will feature both the C of O Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band. The Jazz Ensemble will be playing some great big-band Christmas tunes. Following the Jazz Ensemble, the Concert Band will perform Christmas pieces with a few patriotic selections as well,” Powers said. “Rehearsals have been going very well, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the music we have prepared.”
