College of the Ozarks Concert Band
POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — The College of the Ozarks Concert Band will perform the spring concert on Friday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jones Auditorium. The performance is open to students, faculty, staff, and the public.
“One of the aspects that really excites me about this concert is that we will be featuring two talented students from the band: Zane Kelley will be performing ‘Diversion,’ a concerto for alto saxophone and band, and Will Gentes will play a concerto for euphonium titled ‘Rhapsody for Euphonium and Concert Band,’” said Dr. Kevin Powers, assistant professor of music and director of bands. “Both Zane and Will have been doing great with these challenging pieces and have risen to the occasion. I cannot wait for the public to hear their performances.”
