College of the Ozarks to host Associates Luncheon Tuesday, August 20

College of the Ozarks will host an Associates Luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 11:30 a.m., in the Silver Dollar City Parlor at The Keeter Center. The College invites current Associates, and those interested in becoming Associates, to attend the luncheon to enjoy hearing from Caden Peterson, College of the Ozarks student activities director and director of Camp Lookout, along with a student camp counselor. Together they will discuss the purpose of the Camp, its tasks, challenges, wins, and the impact it has on the lives of students in the surrounding community.

“We look forward to warmly welcoming College of the Ozarks Associates and guests to Hard Work U.” said Dr. Natalie Rasnick, dean of development at College of the Ozarks. “This luncheon is a great opportunity to stay up-to-date on all things C of O, network with like-minded friends, and enjoy delicious student-made food.”

The College of the Ozarks Associates is an organization comprised of more than 350 individuals and businesses committed to the furtherance of the College’s interests and its efforts to provide higher education for deserving young men and women.

The cost of the luncheon is $20 per person at the door. Associates are invited to bring their friends.  RSVP is required and due by Tuesday, Aug. 13, to the Development Office at (417) 690-2209 or e-mail associates@cofo.edu.

For additional information, contact Public Relations Director Valorie Coleman at (417) 690-2212.
