POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — The College of the Ozarks Concert Band performed a Christmas concert Friday, Dec. 3, in The Keeter Center Royal Oak Forum.

Concert Band consists of 65 students directed by Dr. Kevin Powers, associate professor of music and director of bands. Practicing all semester, Concert Band has performed four times this fall.

“Battle Hymn of the Republic” – by Julia Ward Howe and arranged by James Ployhar

“Christmas Fancies” – by James Curnow

“Sleep in Heavenly Peace” – by Franz Gruber and arranged by Patrick Roszell

“O Come, All Ye Faithful” – arranged by James Swearingen

"Our Christmas concert allowed a community to join together to enjoy live Christmas music,” said senior Hallie Hartwell, seven-semester participant in concert band. “This year we provided a sense of normalcy and a renewed Christmas spirit."
