POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — The College of the Ozarks Concert Band will perform a concert on the lawn April 30 at 7 p.m.

The concert, located between the Jones and Gittinger Buildings, is open for C of O faculty, staff, and students to attend. Members of the band will be allowed to invite their family members to watch the performance.

The concert will be livestreamed on the College of the Ozarks Music Department Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/musicatcofo/ for those who are unable to attend and would like to watch the performance.

Dr. Kevin Powers, assistant director of music and director of bands, is director of the Concert Band. When asked about the opportunity to perform in a pandemic, Powers stated, “I am so thankful that I am at an institution where we are able to have our concerts and performances.  It’s been a challenging year, but it’s good to look at everything in perspective.”
