Dr. Williams grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, but moved to Arkansas in 1990. She earned her bachelors in English education, master’s in education administration and PhD in curriculum and [writing] instruction at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She taught middle and high school for several years before moving to the college level.
Dr. Williams lives on a farm in Northwest Arkansas with her husband, Glenn, where he farms livestock. Between them, they have eight children and fifteen grandchildren- ages ranging from newborn to teenager. She spends much of her time away from CofO with her grandchildren – babysitting and attending many of their activities.
