Job Description:
The design area is where all the printed material is designed and processed for the imaging area. Design includes setup of logos, business cards, forms, flyers, brochures, stationary, posters, invitations, etc.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Design and setup,
Proofing,
Create proofs for customers,
Inventory of design materials,
Sweep, mop, and general cleaning of the design room,
Keeping track of jobs.
Secondary duties and responsibilities:
Make color copies,
Assist other departments as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
Macintosh and PC Computer knowledge,
Knowledge of Windows, Quark Express, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher,
Ability to remain calm under pressure,
Ability to take direction,
General knowledge of the printing industry a plus.
Desirable Qualifications:
Ability to work well with others,
Ability to pay attention to detail.
