College of the Ozarks Professor Curt Wilkinson releases new book, "KNOWN: A Year of Questions"

POINT LOOKOUT, MO. — College of the Ozarks Associate Professor of Communication Arts, Dr. Curt Wilkinson, released his new book, KNOWN: A Year of Questions, The book with daily readings presents engaging questions that focus on deepening relationships and developing a greater understanding of self.

Wilkinson released his book on July 26, 2021, and was inspired by his belief that social media erodes our engagement in

meaningful, face-to-face conversation.

“My hope is that KNOWN will encourage people to be transparent with one another,” Wilkinson said. “I think this book can be a wonderful way to grow closer to the people we love, but it only has value if we’re willing to put down our phones. Many of our students get engaged and married during their time here at C of O. It would give me great satisfaction to find that this book has helped couples grow closer together.”

This book is for anyone who wants to cultivate deep and meaningful relationships. It’s an easy and accessible way for spouses, families, friends, and co-workers to connect every day of the year. The entries are short, the topics are predetermined, and the questions are designed to start a conversation. This book was designed to be a simple and meaningful way to grow closer to the ones who matter most in your life.

“This book reveals the gift of a good question,” said Jennifer Freeman, director of Christian formation and leadership development. “Questions are the entrance into meaningful dialogue and understanding which leads to deeper relationships. Whether it is a marriage, a friendship, or even a conversation between colleagues, KNOWN is an easy tool for sharing our own stories while finding beauty in the hearts of others.”

KNOWN also serves as an excellent wedding gift, anniversary gift, or gift for a growing friendship.

The book is available on Amazon and can be accessed at the following link:
