Taylor Galioto

It’s no accident Taylor ended up at College of the Ozarks. She knew, through prayer and thoughtful consideration, that Hard Work U. offered her the best opportunity for personal growth and financial freedom.

“Since I am 12 hours from my hometown in Ohio, I have grown past the boundaries of my comfort zone in ways that would have never been possible had I stayed close to home. Additionally, not having any student loans was very enticing and I knew it would set me up for success in the future.”

At C of O, Taylor, like every student, works, rather than pays, for her education. Taylor’s first workstation was The Keeter Center, a fine dining restaurant, lodge, and conference facility located on the campus of Hard Work U.

“For a year and a half, I worked in Catering at The Keeter Center. Through this position, I learned what it meant and looked like to work as a team for a higher goal. With large events, it is crucial to rely on all individuals of the team to complete their job for the whole event to run smoothly.”

After proving to be a hardworking and motivated student, Taylor applied to the Development Office. She was accepted and for the last one and a half years, she has assisted the College in raising money for its noble mission.

Plant seeds of success.
