In fact, Rheanna’s skills have taken her all the way to Washington D.C. – twice! In the summer of 2022, she interned in Senator Josh Hawley’s office, where she worked on the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee. She provided Capitol tours, responded to constituent inquiries, and proposed legislation on domestic violence prevention in rural communities. 

In the summer of 2023, Rheanna returned to our nation’s capital to intern with Senator Tom Cotton. During this time, she worked on the Senate Judiciary Committee, appeared on C-SPAN, sat in on lobby meetings, and observed a Supreme Court session. 

Upon graduation in May of 2024, Rheanna plans to attend law school. She credits Hard Work U.® with giving her a firm foundation from which to launch.
