Welcome to the College of The Ozarks Pre-Pharmacy Track page! The Pre-Pharmacy program was designed to help students receive the guidance they need to attain a pharmacy degree or a pharmacist education. This program track allows students to select their major. Many applicants choose to major in biology or chemistry, but students admitted into pharmacy school have such diverse majors and social studies or the humanities.
Science majors may be required to take extra courses in the humanities courses, while students with other majors should take additional science courses above the prerequisites. It is important that Pre-Pharmacy students emphasize a balanced liberal arts education. They should take courses that are focused on the humanities and related courses.
