SUBJECT: BOGER ART GALLERY HOSTS VICTORIA CHRISTEN: RECENT CERAMIC VESSELS

The Boger Art Gallery at College of the Ozarks is currently exhibiting Victoria Christen: Recent Ceramic Vessels. The exhibit began January 16 and ends February 14, 2014. A workshop and lecture will be held on January 23. The workshop will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., followed by a lecture and reception at 7 p.m. in the Newman Recital Hall of the Gittinger Music Center.
Christen, a full-time studio potter, was a resident artist at Guldagaard, the International Ceramics Research Center in Denmark, and the Archie Bray Foundation in Montana. For her work, she has received an NEA Regional Visual Arts Fellowship Award, two Minnesota Arts Board Grants and a travel grant to Japan.
This Boger Gallery event is sponsored by the College of the Ozark Art Department. Boger Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. weekends; the Gallery is free and open to the public.
