March 30, 11 a.m.—Commemoration Kickoff, The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks
  Event description:  Official commemoration kickoff for the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War
   
May 27, 1-3 p.m.—Official Release and Book Signing of The Four Generals of Hard Work U, The Keeter Center
  Event description: Book signing by Jerry C. Davis, author of The Four Generals of Hard Work U, a book recounting the lives of four Ozarks youth, who served their nation during the Vietnam Era and went on to become one, two, three, and four-star generals in the United States military
   
June 30, 6-10 p.m.—Honor America Celebration with a Special Tribute to Vietnam Veterans, Lake Honor Lawn
  Event description: Old-fashioned patriotic celebration featuring barbecue, live music, “Uncle Sam,” special patriotic tribute, and fireworks
   
September TBA—“Lest We Forget: The Vietnam War” Gallery Exhibit Opening, The Keeter Center
  Event Description: Gallery exhibit featuring pictures and artifacts of the Vietnam War
   
   
October 12, 7 p.m.—“Four-Star Country Boy” Play Premiers, The Keeter Center
  Event description: Play based on the life of former Assistant Commandant of the United States Marine Corps General Terrence R. Dake, an Ozarks boy with humble roots who served his country and rose to upper echelons of military leadership, as conveyed in the book The Four Generals of Hard Work U.
   
November 2, 10 a.m.—Dedication of Alumni Veterans Memorial, Main Campus Flag Pole, Chapel Lawn
  Event description: Dedication of permanent memorial to all S of O/C of O alumni who served in the U. S. military
   
November 6, 3:15-5 p.m.—“ Vietnam Veterans Thank You,” The Keeter Center
  Event Description: Thank you reception for Vietnam Veterans and their families
   
November 11, 7 a.m.— Flag Raising/Wreath Laying Ceremony, Main Flag Pole, Chapel Lawn
  Event Description: Ceremony to honor all men and women who have served their country in the United States military
   
November 11, 7 p.m.—Vietnam Veterans Convocation: Dave Roever, Jones Auditorium
  Event Description: Convocation with Dave Roever to honor Vietnam Veterans.  Mr. Roever is commmitted to bringing a message of hope and healing to America!  Each year Mr. Roever, a Veteran of the Vietnam War, shares his overcoming story of survival and recovery to thousands, including many active duty military in and out of war zones.
   
December 11, 7 p.m.—“Teach-in:” Colonel Lee Ellis, Jones Auditorium
  Event description: Educational presentation on the service and sacrifices made by the men and women of the United States military who served in the Vietnam War. Col. Lee Ellis (Ret., U.S. Air Force) served as a fighter pilot in Vietnam, who was shot down in 1967 and imprisoned for five years in Hanoi and other surrounding prison camps.  He is the recipient of numerous military decorations, including the Purple Heart, the Legion of Merit, and the POW Medal.
   
2014
January 18, 3 & 5 p.m.—Bobcats Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Games
  Event description: All Vietnam Veterans and their spouses receive free admission to the C of O women’s and men’s games against Haskell Indian Nations University. The evening will include recognition, special seating, and a courtside picnic.
 
April 23, 7 p.m.—Spring Convocation “Teach-in” featuring panel of three Vietnam Veterans
  Event description: Educational presentation on the service and sacrifices made by the men and women of the United States military who served in the Vietnam War
   
September 2014—Patriotic Education Travel to Vietnam for Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Vietnam War
  Event description: A group of College of the Ozarks students and Vietnam Veterans will go on Patriotic Education Travel to Vietnam. Details will be forthcoming
