SUBJECT: S OF O BOYS AND GIRLS TRACK TEAMS PLACE IN MISSOURI CLASS 1 DISTRICT 4 TRACK AND FIELD COMPETITION
School of the Ozarks Boys’ and Girls’ Track Teams competed Saturday, May 10, at the Missouri Class 1 District 4 Track and Field Competition at Skyline High School at Humansville, Mo. The Boys’ Team placed first, and the Girls Team placed third in total points.
In the girls’100 and 300 meter-hurdles, Rachel Snyder placed first. The Girls’ Team placed first in the 4 x 400-meter relay. In the boys’ 110 and 300-meter hurdles, Keaton Tillack placed first, and Teddy Lingner placed second. In the boys’ shot put, Tanner Tillack placed first. In boys’ pole vault, Christian Reifschneider placed first. In the boys’ 400-meter dash, Lansing Brown placed first. The Boys’ Team also placed first in the 4 x 400 and the 4 x 200 meter-relay.
“Having competed against Class 2 and 3 schools most of the season prepared our kids for this meet against smaller schools,” said S of O Cross Country and Track Coach Bob Texidor. “Just about everyone on the team contributed to our success.”
