Both events are free and open to the public. Vietnam Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend. All attendees will enjoy a cookie reception during the exhibit opening. For more information, please contact the Public Relations office at (417) 690-2212.
From March 2013-September 2014, College of the Ozarks will celebrate and honor the Veterans of the Vietnam War to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the conflict. While our Vietnam Veterans did not receive the appreciation and homecoming they deserved during the 1960s-70s, the College has resolved to properly honor and recognize them for their service and sacrifices and to educate the younger generation on the importance of their selfless contributions to our nation. During the coming months, please join College of the Ozarks in Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. To see the Commemorative Calendar of Events, go to www.cofo.edu.
