Who can come to Camp Lookout?
We welcome children (8 to 12 years old) of Stone or Taney county residents who are otherwise unable to afford another camp experience to apply for Camp Lookout.
What is Camp Lookout?
Camp Lookout is a Christian, fun-filled, week-long summer camp provided to area children at NO cost! Camp Lookout provides a Christian atmosphere where campers experience many activities such as swimming and hiking!
Where is Camp Lookout?
Camp Lookout is located on a lush, green meadow near the banks of Lake Taneycomo on the College of the Ozarks campus. C of O is located in Point Lookout, Missouri, near Branson.
When is Camp Lookout?
The 2017 dates for Camp Lookout are as follows:
8-10 yr. olds 11-12 yr. olds
May 29-June 2 July 3-July 7
June 5-June 9 July 10-July 14
June 12-June 16 July 17-July 21
June 19-June 23 July 24-July 28

Why is there a Camp Lookout?
College of the Ozarks is a private, Christian college dedicated to helping students as well as the community. C of O, known as "Hard Work U", provides scholarships to financially needy students who work campus jobs to pay for their tuition. We also want to extend our helping hand to younger children by making certain that a lack of finances doesn't keep them from enjoying a summer camp experience.
Camp applications will be dated as they are received and vacancies will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is not a deadline for applications, however we anticipate that camp will fill up quickly. We do not guarantee placement, nor do we accept roommate request.
For your child's safety, we require that you submit a copy of your child's immunization record before the application can be processed. If your child has attended previously, we have his/her records on file. Please mail applications to:
