Come visit the new Farmers Market! The theme is “all things student-made and grown,” and takes place from 7:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the sale barn across from the Dairy. Items available for sale include garden veggies, our famous C of O milk and meats, Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen products, Edwards Mill items, Stained Glass, Landscaping plants and Keeter Center goodies.
22nd Annual Alumni Golf Game
Fri., Nov. 1, 10:00 a.m.
Join your friends for the annual golf game at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Cost is $65 per person–Golf, Box Lunch, Cart, and two Mulligans included at the Payne Stewart Golf Club.

’40s 21st Annual No-Host Buffet—Fri., Nov. 1
Begin the weekend by attending the ’40s 21st Annual No-Host Buffet at the Good Center at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Tickets are only $12, and you can pay at the door. This event is hosted by the ’40s, but all decades are welcome to attend this fun, informal event.
Lady Bobcats Basketball—Fri., Nov. 1
Come support the Lady Bobcats as they play Ottawa University at 7:00 p.m. in Keeter Gymnasium.
5K Walk/Run—Fri., Nov. 1
The annual 5K Walk/Run will be at 9:15 p.m. on Friday.
Homecoming Breakfast—Sat., Nov. 2
Plan to meet your friends at the annual Homecoming Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. in Dobyns Dining Room at The Keeter Center. Tickets are $12, and must be purchased in advance. The annual business meeting will follow in the Royal Oak Forum.
Alumni Veterans Memorial Dedication Sat., Nov. 2
The Alumni Veterans Memorial honoring those alumni who have been killed in action will be dedicated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the Chapel Courtyard.
Bobcat Volleyball—Sat., Nov. 2
The Volleyball team will play a conference game at 12:00 p.m. in Keeter Gymnasium.
Homecoming Picnic—Sat., Nov. 2
The Business Undergraduate Society and Kelce, Memorial, and Mabee Halls will host a Homecoming Picnic on the Activity Field again this year. The meal includes grilled chicken on bun, BBQ pulled pork on bun or two hot dogs on buns; coleslaw, chips, choice of soup, two cookies, and a beverage. This will be a great place to eat, sit, and visit before the parade starts. Adults: $7, Children: $3
Bobcat Basketball—Sat., Nov. 2
After the parade, head to Keeter Gymnasium to support the Bobcats as they host Southwestern College at 3:15 p.m.
Alumni Banquet—Sat., Nov. 2
Tickets are available now for the Alumni Banquet on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the Youngman Agricultural Center. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased by Friday, Nov. 1.
TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
This year’s banquet includes a special Homecoming performance of “Four-Star Country Boy,” an inspirational play depicting the life of one of Hard Work U’s alumni success stories. Produced and performed by C of O students, the play is based on the life of former Assistant Commandant of the United States Marine Corps General Terrence R. Dake, ’64 JC. Banquet attendees will receive charter bus transportation from Youngman Agricultural Center to The Keeter Center for this special event. Child Care Available during Banquet
Child care in our Child Development Center will beavailable from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 , for infants to ten years. The cost is $8 per hour, per child. Reservations must be made on or before October 25th through Marty Waller at the Child Development Center at 417-690-3427.
Cheerleader and Bobcat Mascot Reunion—Sat., Nov. 2

JC Basketball Reunion—Sat., Nov. 2
Please join JC Basketball players and Coach Arvil Burks for a reunion at 4:00 p.m. in the Ozark Room at the Good Center.
Class of 1958 HS—Sat., Nov. 2
The Class of HS ’58 will meet in The Gazebo Room at the Branson Towers Hotel, 236 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway, after the Banquet and Play, for two hours. Coffee, water and cookies will be served. Reminiscing and looking at photo albums are on the agenda.
1963 HS & JC 50th Reunion—Fri. & Sat., Nov. 1 -2
The 1963 HS and JC classes will celebrate their 50th reunion on Friday evening, Nov. 1 (beginning after 4:00 p.m.), and also get together on Saturday evening after the banquet. Any student during this era is invited to join the 1963 HS and JC classes at the Branson Towers Hotel Table Rock Room. On Saturday afternoon between 2:00-4:00 p.m., all classes of 1963 are invited to come by and visit in the Christian Ministries Lounge.
Class of 1973 40th Reunion—Sat., Nov. 2
The Class of 1973 will get-together from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Alumni Center (upstairs in the East Room). Please join us and get re-acquainted.
Calling all graduates from the ’80s…
The annual ’80s Remix will be held again in the Back Court area of the gym following the basketball game on Friday night. We are planning light refreshments and ’80s music. Feel free to bring pictures and memorabilia. If you live close and would like to bring refreshments such as cookies, chips, dips, etc. please do. We have better attendance every year, and we expect even more this year. Hope to see you there!
1960s Reunion—Sat., Nov. 2
The HS Years of 1964-1967: “The Extant Antecedents,” also known as “The Final Four” announces its third annual Homecoming gathering at 10 am on Saturday, November 2nd to take place in the Christian Ministries Lounge, (formerly Thompson Dining Hall). All graduates and attendees of the 1960s High School, Junior college and College classes are invited to come and reconnect with your classmates, workmates, roommates and friends. More information will be forthcoming on other homecoming plans, including the Saturday morning Alumni Breakfast, and the Saturday night Alumni Banquet, and a probable “Final Four” instigated Friday night dinner. This year, the 1963 HS & JC classes celebrate their 50th reunion. Come and help them celebrate this milestone. Class of 1988 to Celebrate 25th Reunion
The Class of 1988 will celebrate its 25th year class reunion during Homecoming on campus the weekend of Nov. 1. Class agent Clarissa Stamps Kirsch urges all classmates to plan now to attend, reconnect with former classmates and enjoy this milestone year! Special seating will be provided for the class at the banquet on Saturday night and on Friday night a special “’80s remix” will take place at the back court immediately following the basketball game. This is a casual event in a relaxed atmosphere. Stop by to chat, have a snack and look at old yearbooks! Please mark your calendar now to attend this “silver”anniversary!
